Digital Web Development Lead

We are seeking a highly motivated Digital/Web Tech Lead to help build the our next gen customer experience solutions with focus on web and mobile sites, content delivery and other digital technology. This includes creating architectures, solutions, designs, builds and measurement while working closely with other IT team members, suppliers, and business partners. This lead role informs the web strategy and is responsible for execution of that strategy related to our web presence. Individual also is also accountable for technical solutions lifecycle while ensuring the solutions meet IT architectural best practice, compliance, security and business requirements while increasing our Digital/Web presence via various means globally.
In this position you will perform functional reviews, technical design review, oversee projects implementation from start to finish. Technical knowledge includes hands on experience with Drupal and .NET (SharePoint) platforms, web analytics solutions, search platforms, performance, and development toolsets. You will work closely with IT team, suppliers, and business partners to ensure any proposed solutions follow industry best practices.

Position Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership in the delivery of projects small to large for Digital Solutions.
• Lead, support and provide technical oversight for web, application server, content management system, content, search, and web analytics solutions.
• Review and provide solution design for all related system integrations (ex: web services/service bus/API).
• Work closely with business teams and be in alignment with IT strategy and organizational objectives.
• Drive and address any critical production issues.
• Provide recommendation for web site optimization/tuning. Lead performance enhancement initiates.
• Drive and perform products/new technologies/solutions proof of concept and evaluation.
• Manage vendors and lead key technical decisions.

Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Extensive knowledge and experience with Object Oriented PHP, Drupal 8 and other scripting languages that enhance the customer interaction and experience
• Strong background in full LAMP stack.
• Fully understands the development lifecycle and ability to deploy at every stage.
• Strong background with JavaScript and JS libraries.
• Proficient in web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, SASS, and Bootstrap
• Knowledge of basic TCP networking, DNS, HTTP(S)/1.1/2.0, LoadBalancing, HA, Clustering
• Strong knowledge in system integrations
• Good knowledge of SDLC processes and tools and Agile or SCRUM processes
• Knowledge of SSO, SAML, OAUTH
• Ability to handle cross-browser and cross-platform issues effectively
• Ability to translate requirements into detailed design and solution documents
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and program complex application stack
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and team-facilitation skills
• Strong attention to detail and deadlines
• Ability to work well under pressure and work on multiple projects concurrently
• Ability to work well with global team members/suppliers

Position Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent plus
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, including minimum 5 years in IT
• 3+ years of experience building Drupal websites.
• Hands on experience in building and deploying enterprise level Web Content Management solutions on Drupal 7 or 8 (Acquia is plus) or experience with other CMS is plus (WordPress and SharePoint)
• Experience working collaboratively using version control systems (Git/GitHub).
• Experience working with or ability to quickly learn web marketing platforms including HubSpot, Google Analytics & Webmaster Tools, Google Data Studio, Google Tag Manager and Event Tracking.
