Global R&D Kaseya Labs Manager
LOCATION - Breinigsville, PA (US East Data Center)
SUMMARY
The R&D Labs Manager will possess data center knowledge and is responsible for the operational integrity and process and security compliance of the data center infrastructure.
The Global R&D Kaseya Labs Manager has overall responsibility for planning, directing and coordinating activities pertaining to the day-to-day support of all Kaseya lab environments. They are responsible for managing the team that develops and carries out operational support for all lab technology projects, as well as maintaining daily operational requirements.

Experience directly leading or mentoring others, setting clear objectives, planning and prioritizing deliverables which align with organizational goals. You can establish clear responsibilities and processes for monitoring work and measuring results.

Global R&D Kaseya Labs Manager

They are responsible for managing the team that develops and carries out operational support for all lab technology projects, as well as maintaining daily operational requirements.
JOB SUMMARY

- Provide day-to-day leadership and direction for in-house staff for the safe and reliable operations of lab infrastructure systems.
- Operates and installs computing equipment related to infrastructure and applications including servers, storage, and application infrastructure.
- Oversee the IT lab environment, ensuring it is properly equipped and configured for testing and development purposes.
- Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure system security, reliability, and efficiency.
- Provide hands-on project management for strategic department-wide initiatives, inclusive of technology selection, effort, timeline, cost, resource allocation, system engineering, solution delivery, and implementation.
- Oversee 2nd and 3rd level Infrastructure operations support for the department 14x5, with on-call support during off-hours for initial response to disruptions, outages, and incidents.
- Oversees inventory/audits and decommission of hardware.
- Lifting equipment required up to and over 50lbs. Use manual and electric server lift where applicable.
- Produces and reviews detailed documentation and diagrams regarding the solution being integrated to provide key input to Change Management processes and participates in the internal Engineering Review process.
- Assist with the implementation and evangelization of security best practices and lead security incident response/management if necessary.
- Assists with shipping, receiving, and distribution of equipment and hardware.
About You:
- Strong technical leader and fosters mentorship to staff and collaborate with other departments to meet business needs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; must be able to distribute messages clearly and concisely connecting with employees and customers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to prioritize requirements for value that align with customer expectations and product vision.
- Passionate / energetic leader with complete ownership of the Lab and Infrastructure, while inspiring others to share and contribute to the product vision and goals.
- 5-10 years of experience as a data center technician, or similar.
- Bachelor's degree related to Information Technology or equivalent experience.

- CompTIA Linux+, Network+ or equivalent
