Location: Tifton, GA - 100% Onsite

As the Sr. Manager of Magnolia Operations, you will manage resources and priorities in order to fabricate, assemble and deliver manufactured goods for final distribution. Interface with support organizations as necessary to deliver a timely quality product.

  • Continuous drive to improve plant metrics; productivity, safety, delivery, quality and cost containment.
  • Oversee the daily production operations of the plant.
  • Monitor operations for efficiency and safety, ensuring that all applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Provide strategic guidance to Area Leaders who are responsible for tactical implementation of production plans.
  • Oversee development of production schedules to meet internal goals as well as expectations of customers.
  • Oversee production staff, including hiring/training of personnel.
  • Leadership in implementing Lean continuous improvement actions.
  • Direct plant layout and arrangement to facilities, equipment for optimization of production.
  • Must be able to coordinate materials, quality, safety, finance, etc into a high performance business.


Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have the following:

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Requires at least 8 years related experience.
  • Requires at least 3 years experience as a manager.
  • Knows best practices and procedures for managing manufacturing facilities.
  • Requires a proven background in running a manufacturing facility above just plant operations.
  • Requires excellent leadership and team building skills.
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required.
  • Knowledgeable about fiscal control, budget forecasting, standardized metrics and achievement in performance to plan.
  • Excellent decision making and creative problem solving skills.
  • A steady performer under pressure. Requires computer literacy in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations. Requires expertise in customer service.
  • equires good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Requires strong knowledge of and commitment to Continuous Improvement.


The Compensation range for this position is approximately $134,000 - $176,000 and will be based on the candidate's qualification, experience, and education.
