Position Summary:
This position provides senior leadership for all ICC Training endeavors (except those unique to individual subsidiaries).
Position Responsibilities:
Develop training priorities in collaboration with EVP of Professional Development.
Implement training strategies to further the mission and financial goals of ICC.
Recruit, develop, and manage the training leadership roles required.
Coordinate training leadership priorities, budget & ensure accountability for results.
Work collaboratively with Credentialing Department to pursue aligned objectives.
Represent the training department to the Board, Senior Management Team, Education Committee, and similar stakeholders.
Requirements
Essential Skills and Education / Experience:
MBA preferred but not required.
ICC, Industry, or State licensing/certification strongly preferred.
Direct experience or knowledge of Code Official responsibilities strongly preferred.
Minimum 10 years of senior leadership experience required.
Minimum 5 years of educational leadership experience required.
Proven excellence in problem solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Effective use of modern technologies (email, MS tools, web tools, etc.).
Travel availability up to 25% as responsibilities require.
Ability to work professionally with staff, Board, and diverse stakeholders.
Professional demeaner and presentation.
