Responsibilities Include:
- Tech Department Leadership:
- Lead the effort to bring the tech department in-house, including designing and implementing the department's structure.
- Hire and manage a team of engineers and technical professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Architecture & Development:
- Architect and develop new systems and solutions to support business needs.
- Oversee the development and rollout of new features, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
- Team Building & Management:
- Build and mentor a high-performing technical team, providing leadership, guidance, and growth opportunities.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure alignment between technical development and business objectives.
- Strategic Planning & Execution:
- Develop and execute a roadmap for the tech department, focusing on innovation, efficiency, and scalability.
- Drive continuous improvement in development processes and technologies.
Ideal Qualifications:
- Proven experience in leading tech teams and departments.
- Strong expertise in software architecture, development, and scaling large systems.
- Experience with full-stack development and modern technologies.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a growing team.
- Previous experience building and scaling an in-house tech department is a plus.
