We are seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer with a strong background in data analysis, visualization, and business intelligence solutions. This role will focus on leveraging data to drive sustainability and waste reduction efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide robust BI solutions for complex problems that are extensible and scalable.
• Understand high-level business objectives and align work to meet these goals.
• Refine data strategies across functional teams and make technical trade-off decisions for long- and short-term needs.
• Learn and utilize a broad range of data resources effectively.
• Support cross-functional teams on daily execution of projects and initiatives.
• Act as a liaison between business and technical teams to deliver actionable insights.
• Drive best practices in operational excellence, data modeling, and analysis.
• Write high-quality SQL and Python code to retrieve, analyze, and visualize data.
• Develop dashboards and self-service reports to monitor business performance.
• Maintain accounts related to tools and dashboards.

Business Acumen / Basic Statistical Knowledge

Skills & Experience Required:

• 4+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or related fields.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with data pipeline architecture.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams.
• High attention to detail and ability to deal with ambiguity.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with sustainability initiatives or packaging automation.
• Knowledge of BI tools.
• Experience in mentoring junior team members.
