Description:
Provide Level 3 Engineering level troubleshooting of Mac Desktop issues
Requirements:
- Be a Sr. level Mac Engineer and drive Mac Engineering projects to completion in a Team Lead capability.
- Constant refinement of our JSS Casper Suite in providing Mac imaging, user data backup / restore, software deployments, and support using this infrastructure
- Provide MS Office level 3 Engineering support for Mac versions 2011 & 2016 O365 including Outlook
- Provide level 3 support and engineering for browsers including Mac Safari, Chrome, and Firefox
- Assist with packaging Mac installs including any required scripting as needed
- Communicate effectively; dissect situations and present optimal solutions for complex issues
- Expedite sensitive operational issues and make the appropriate decision to inform a supervisor or take independent action if necessary
- Project a positive, professional image and foster a respectful team environment
- Actively participate in key departmental and divisional initiatives when called upon
- Assist Level 3 Windows Engineering as needed (as they assist Mac Engineering)
Requirements:
- 3-5 years experience
- Superior product and industry knowledge for Mac & Windows mixed environments
- Outstanding client service, communication and problem resolution skills
- Experience with JAMF Casper Suite is a must
- Experience with Centrify & MS SCCM is desirable
- Mac OS X bash and applescript experience is required
- Strong self-management skills in order to drive projects to completion
