Job Summary

Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Student Services, the Director - Early Learning Program is responsible for planning, directing, and administering the Early Learning Program and other assigned special programs. This role oversees program operations, services, staff, and activities, ensuring alignment with program goals and regulatory requirements. The Director leads program planning, development, management, self-evaluation, and community engagement to support high-quality early learning services.

  • Credential Copy (Child Development Program Director Permit, issued by the State of California Commission on Teacher Credentialing, or meet the requirements to obtain a Child Development Program Director Permit)

Comments and Other Information

This position is being advertised for the 2025-26 school year.

Desirable Qualifications:
Master's Degree in early childhood education, human development, social science, education, public administration, or other related field
California Administrative Services Credential
At least two (2) years' experience in the management and administration of a Head Start or Early Head Start program
Knowledge of Early Learning Program Performance Standards, and State of California Child Care Center licensing requirements
