Job Title: Rad Tech
Job Specialty: Ultrasound Tech
Job Duration: 13-week assignment
Shift: 8H Evenings, 10:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m., every other weekend, first to float
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Experience: Minimum of 2 years
License: Not required for submission
Certifications: BLS, RDCS
Must-Have: Experience with Cerner charting system
Job Description:
- Work in an acute care setting providing ultrasound services.
- Responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures according to established standards and practices.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Adapt to various patient needs and treatment scenarios while maintaining professional integrity.
- Participate in 12 hours of orientation to acclimate to the facility's processes and procedures.
- Maintain the quality of ultrasound images and ensure patient safety throughout procedures.
- Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment.
- Must be prepared to float first when needed.
