What You'll Do

As a Client HR Business Partner, you will own the client relationship from implementation through the life of their service with Emplova. You will act as the single point of contact and strategic HR advisor, ensuring clients remain compliant, informed, and empowered to manage their workforce effectively.Strategic HR & Business Advisory
  • Partner with client leadership to develop HR strategies that align with business goals.
  • Provide consultative guidance on compliance, workforce planning, talent retention, and compensation structures.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor for client leadership, helping them navigate employee relations, investigations, and HR best practices.
  • Proactively identify HR risks and opportunities, offering data-driven recommendations to improve workforce management.
Client Relationship & HR Solutions Management
  • Act as the single point of contact for assigned clients, providing expert guidance on payroll, benefits, compliance, and performance management.
  • Serve as a liaison between clients and Emplova's internal teams (Payroll, Benefits, Compliance, WC, EPLI, HR Technology).
  • Ensure a seamless onboarding and implementation experience for new clients and their employees.
  • Proactively anticipate client needs, ensuring a high-touch, boutique-level client experience.
  • Conduct live and webinar-based trainings for client leadership, employees, and HR teams on best practices, compliance, and HRIS usage.
Workforce & Compliance Leadership
  • Provide expert guidance on federal, state, and local employment laws, ensuring client compliance.
  • Advise on employee relations matters, including performance issues, coaching, exit strategies, and investigations.
  • Guide clients through the development of HR policies, employee handbooks, and workforce management strategies.
  • Oversee and ensure the accurate processing of payroll, time & attendance, and benefits administration.
Process Improvement & Data-Driven Decision-Making
  • Analyze HR metrics, client retention trends, and workforce data to drive continuous improvement.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance client satisfaction.
  • Partner with internal teams to refine workflows and improve service efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Sales & Marketing to develop client-facing HR materials and participate in prospective client meetings.
What We're Looking For
7+ years of HR, PEO, or HR consulting experience in a client-facing role.
Strong understanding of HR compliance, payroll, benefits administration, and employee relations.
Confident and strategic problem solver who can navigate complex client needs with ease.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and advise client leadership teams.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.
Tech-savvy, with experience using HRIS, Payroll, and Time & Attendance platforms (PrismHR experience is a plus).
Strong business acumen with the ability to understand client needs, workforce trends, and HR strategy.
