The Brand Retail Operations Manager will utilize expert operational experience to design, document and implement global guidelines and initiatives to ensure excellence in our day-to-day store operations, providing consistency across our Brand Retail channel in the US. This position requires a start-up mindset and experience to build from the ground-up with guidance using existing global SOP's, knowledge and practices within our current operational landscape and establish strong relationships with our teams in markets to help them enhance commercial performance and drive operational efficiencies to reduce cost-to-serve.

Your 'day to day':

  • Plan, lead, and co-ordinate the deployment of the principles and procedures mentioned of the global Brand Retail Operations Guidebook and lead change management activities across the market.
  • Oversee design and execution of Brand retail experience strategy ensuring superior customer experience across all owned stores/formats. Develops and embeds retail experience standards, retail brand positioning and ongoing in-store initiatives in line with the broader strategy in the US.
  • Lead with an omni-channel mindset, partner closely with other channel heads and ensure connectivity across processes, systems and procedures
  • Drive policy and process performance, across the organization, develop feedback loops and build opportunity backlogs; provide retail operations input for relevant toolboxes, aiming to enable a qualitative CX and efficient ways of working. Define for both foundational groundwork and at scale
  • Support budgetary requirements and contribute to the development and implementation of plans and effective management practices to maintain a cost-effective strategy
  • Collaboration with Governance & Planning team to identify opportunities to improve Retail teams and store performance through in-depth analysis and partnership with the different departments in the US market, as required. Collects and analyses data to assess and optimize in-store experience.
  • Create the overall framework of operational requirements, guidelines/toolboxes, measurement & collaboration to deliver a high level of experience in every BR location globally
  • Create a 3-yr strategic roadmap for new initiatives and improvements to the US Brand retail store operational model, collaborating with the wider Commercial team and HQ functions
  • Design all operational guidelines aligned with business needs, the evolution of in-store experiences and store assets.


Who we're looking for:

  • A minimum of 7 years' experience, preferably with a mix both consumers facing/operational and office-based roles
  • Retail operations experience and influence in a large matrix-style organization, with proven ability to build relevant store operations frameworks and tools while maintaining a consumer centric mindset
  • A minimum of 5 years of program and project management expertise
  • Knowledge of multiple markets dynamic and easily work within legislative framework
  • Ability to deal with high-pressure environments, able to problem-solve and manage conflicts
  • Business acumen with strong numerical agility, strategic vision, analytical mindset, and efficiency driven approach
  • Ability to manage highly ambiguous environment
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in business administration or related field
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • 30% travel expected
