Reporting to the Senior Tax Manager, the Senior Tax Accountant will be an integral part of N-ables global tax team.The Senior Tax Analyst will prepare the ASC 740 Income Tax Provision and related schedules for the quarterly and annual SEC filings for review; including income projections by entity and the calculation of the worldwide effective tax rate.The Senior Tax Analyst will work directly with the external income tax compliance service providers in the US and Canada for annual tax return filings in both countries.

What You'll Do

Primarily responsible for gathering and providing information to the external compliance partners for the tax returns in Canada and the US.

Perform initial review of all other non-US tax returns prepared by service providers in local countries.

Gather the necessary data and prepare the quarterly income tax provision calculations for review, ensure worksheet controls are operating appropriately.

Prepare the roll forward of all income tax accounts worldwide, in accordance with established corporate SOX controls and processes.

Prepare the inventory and roll forward of deferred items, by entity.

Assist in documenting, setting and reviewing the intercompany cost allocations and royalties in accordance with established transfer pricing policies on a monthly basis and at year-end.

Gather and provide the necessary data and support to the external compliance provider for the annual transfer pricing reports.

Maintain and organize all digital files for income tax reporting.

Assist with federal, state, and international tax audits as needed.

Provide research and assistance on various tax matters as needed.

What You'll Bring

7+ years total with at least 4 years Big 4 and 3 years private experience at a public company.

Bachelors degree in accounting required.

CPA or equivalent preferred.

Strong proven accounting skills in addition to ASC 740.

Public company audit experience at Big 4 required.

Prior experience in the preparation of income tax provision in accordance with ASC 740 required.

Proven ability to work independently and collaborate within tax and finance both on Teams and in-person.

Must be able to be in the office at least 2 days per week and additional days during quarter and year-end closes.

Must be detail oriented, organized and self-motivated.

Must exhibit strong professional ethics and integrity.

Advanced knowledge of Excel required.Experience using online research tools a must; Orbitax, Thompson Reuters, Bloomberg, etc.

Working knowledge of accounting operating systems, NetSuite, Oracle etc.
