Reporting to the Director, Construction and in collaboration with site leadership team, the Senior Project Manager is responsible for achieving project objectives through a combination of effective leadership and efficient use of project management process. The ideal candidate will leverage excellent communication and people skills to develop successful relationships with clients, consultants, architects, and sub-contractors. Senior Project Manager would achieve high standard of project delivery and operations excellence through a strong focus on quality, schedule, people leadership and financial management.

About the Role
Project Leadership
Collaborate with:
Mange negotiations and tender process for selection of contractors and sub-trades.
Manage contractual requirements and change management process.
Organize project execution activities.
Lead and facilitate project meetings.
Maintain financial management of project (budget, forecast, cashflow, and cost control).
Manage customer interface and project stakeholders' communications.
Provide project reports for executives, customers, and other stakeholders. Create transparency and open communication as related to project issues.
Ensure execution of regulatory standards, Marcon's policies, protocols, and processes at construction site.
Mange project close-out.
People Leadership
Drive results through setting ambitious targets, set accountability, focus people's energy on project direction, and remove barriers.
Lead project staff.
Participate in recruitment of site resources.
Conduct performance evaluations.
Fosters a teamwork approach for achieving objectives.
Process Leadership
Promote and execute Marcon's Operations system and processes, including PMO and the Last Planner System.
Engage with continuous improvement of Marcon's process and systems.
Ensure and champion use of Marcon's application technologies at the job site.
Use of key performance indicators to ensure continuous learning and improvement.
Safety Leadership
Promote Marcon's safety management system, and zero accident culture.
Ensure pro-active safety process and adherence to OHSA regulations.
Support and uphold COR certification standards.
Quality Leadership
Ensure Marcon's standards for quality and brand is maintained.
Engage with Customer Care department to incorporate customer satisfaction measures with site deliveries.
Ensure corrective and preventive actions are in place for reduction of rework.
About You
10+ years of experience in construction project management.
College diploma or university degree in related field, PMP an asset.
Leadership, conflict resolution and communication skills.
Demonstrated experience with managing contract operations.
Proficiency with construction related computer applications.
Excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to details.
Excellent interpersonal, teamwork and collaboration skills.
Commitment to operations excellence.

- Engineers, architects, and consultants to determine, specifications, design requirements, value engineering and constructability.
