The ZAGG Sr. Market Sales Manager oversees sales operations within an assigned geographical area. Their primary objective is to improve ZAGG product sales in their assigned region while managing a team of Market Sales Managers (MSMs) ensuring company objectives are met and optimizing performance. They maintain and expand relationships with all our retail partners in their assigned region and will be responsible for improving sell-through performance via weekly store visits, product and sales training, merchandising compliance, and assigned strategic account objectives.

US Wireless carriers and National Retailers such as T-Mobile, Verizon, AT&T, Best Buy, Wal-Mart, and Target.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Visit multiple field-based retail locations daily in assigned market.
- Proactively source weekly retailer training opportunities at region, district, and/or store levels.
- Participate in side-by-side sales events with retailers to demonstrate the sales process firsthand.
- Establish productive, professional relationships with retail leadership and retail store representatives within your assigned region.
- Improve retailer personnel knowledge of ZAGG and mophie products.
- Audit in-store merchandising compliance.
- Assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis.
- Travel to assigned submarkets when needed.
- Manage, motivate, and evaluate market sales managers.
- Train and develop team members, monitor performance, create and help implement sales/marketing plans.
- Manage a budget for assigned Market Sales Managers.
- Facilitate team meetings, coaching sessions, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure sales team members adhere to ZAGG policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
- Conduct a quarterly market visit with an assigned team member.
- Determine the most effective method to include our products in the corporate-driven sales process.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in or equivalent work experience required
- 4+ years' experience working in retail
- Leadership experience working in Consumer Electronics/Wireless Retail preferred
- Must be able to be physically present for training sessions, presentations, and meetings.
- Ability to travel frequently within the assigned region.
- Submarket travel is occasionally needed to meet company objectives.
- Analytical background preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, CRM, Microsoft Enterprise Software.
- Strong cross-functional collaborator and communicator.
- Strategic planning, problem solving, and execution skills.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal proficiencies.
