The Capacity forecasting & Insights team exists to enable our operational success. We work across Cloud Capacity Engineering teams to provide the Cloud Capacity data center forecasting, deep analysis, and predictions that support our Capacity Operations, Hardware Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering and Data Center operations organizations in their goal to deliver and maintain innovative, high-quality products that solve our customers' needs. We are a group of data analysts, data engineers, data scientists, insight specialists, information architects, and storytellers, who strive to make the world of work better for Cloud Capacity Engineering. Specifically, our team works to provide capacity forecasting across Cloud Capacity Engineering while also providing day to day operational dashboards to manage the business.
What you get to do in this role:
You'll work in a fast-paced environment, interfacing with the Capacity Forecasting & Insights team and stakeholders throughout Cloud Capacity Engineering to help ensure the team is delivering maximum value to the organization. Working specifically Capacity Operations to ensure Capacity utilization focused dashboards and reports are delivered, continuous improvements on our cross functional dashboards relating data between all cloud capacity engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities:Product Backlog Management: Create and maintain a prioritized product backlog with well-defined user stories, features, and tasks. Continuously groom and refine the backlog to reflect changing business priorities supporting Capacity Operations, Hardware Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering and Data Center Operations Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders, including customers, users, and business teams, to gather and clarify requirements. Translate these requirements into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria. Sprint Planning: Participate in sprint planning meetings to select user stories and tasks for upcoming sprints. Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between the Forecasting & Insights team and Cloud Capacity Engineering stakeholders. Feedback and Iteration: Collect feedback from stakeholders, customers, and users to refine the product backlog and guide the Forecasting & Insights team in making improvements. Most importantly, you'll work on a team striving solve daily operational needs to helping communicate a larger story - even when that story is challenging - throughout the organization to help effect change.

- Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in a Capacity focused team
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies, especially Scrum.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in creating and managing a product backlog.
- Knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies in the relevant domain.
- A degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow Agile Platform is a plus.
