We are seeking an Information Review and Release Analyst to join our dynamic and fast-paced business office. This position offers a flexible work schedule and provides an opportunity to support our litigation team. As an analyst, you will oversee the declassification of documents related to civil or criminal litigation cases. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with the ability to maintain strict confidentiality while accurately recording the chronological order of events. You will play a crucial role in organizing and preparing documents for legal counsel review, as well as liaising with Other Government Agencies (OGA) involved in the process. This position requires conducting desktop research, analyzing results, and making recommendations for document release. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of declassification processes, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the declassification of documents related to civil or criminal litigation cases; Maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion; Record and maintain a chronological order of events from the beginning to the end of the declassification process; Organize documents in preparation for legal counsel review, ensuring accuracy and completeness; Act as a liaison for Other Government Agencies (OGA) involved in the declassification process; Conduct desktop research to analyze results and determine the relevance of new searches; Determine if requested records have been previously declassified and/or released; Utilize codes provided in the Sponsors declassification guide to provide rationale for redaction actions on electronic documents; Provide recommendations regarding the release of documents for Sponsor approval; Record decisions in the Sponsor's systems accurately and efficiently; Identify records that contain Other Government Agency (OGA) equities and manage the referral process; Ensure proper handling and assignment of documents to the appropriate equity holder; Research previous declassification/release decisions to ensure accuracy and consistency; Provide feedback to the Sponsor regarding declassification processes and results.

Required Skills
- Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in information review, release, or related roles, preferably within a litigation environment
- Strong understanding of declassification processes, legal requirements, and government regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
- Proficiency in conducting thorough research, analyzing results, and drawing relevant conclusions.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to provide clear and concise recommendations.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Familiarity with electronic document management systems and record-keeping procedures.
- Knowledge of government agency protocols and procedures is a plus.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
