GENERAL
DESCRIPTION:
The Department of
Administrative Services (DOAS), Information Technology Division is seeking a
senior Business Analyst with Workday HCM experience and experience coordinating
large projects.
DOAS is partnering with
the State Accounting Office (SAO) to implement Workday HCM for 70,000 State employees. This resource would provide project business
analysis support for a variety of assignments including legacy data remediation,
data conversion support, testing and defect resolution, and service request
handling support for HCM Talent, Compensation, Benefits, Learn, and/or Core HR
functions.
LOCAL CANDITATES ONLY - They will be required to come to the office upon request for onsite meetings.

JOB
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The role of the Business Analyst will:

Identify, plan, coordinate, and track tasks with business teams to
achieve project goals.
Analyze impacts to current vs future state business processes to document
and implement process and content changes.
Develop and execute test plans and scripts.
Develop user guides and other supporting documentation as required.
Provide user support and
training on organizational changes, process changes, and/or new functionality.
Serve as a liaison between assigned business units of DOAS and the
technical team to provide technical support in the maintenance or enhancements
of systems.
Ensure
functionality of automated system is consistent with adherence to laws,
regulations, business rules and best practices.
REQUIRED
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Strong business analysis
skills.
Project lead or
management skills.
Effective written
and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal, analytical, and organizational
skills.
Ability to present and document high quality, detailed
deliverables.
Advanced knowledge in MS Excel, SQL,
and/or data analysis tools.
MINIMUM
ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS:
Three years of related experience including Workday HCM administration.
PREFERRED
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience implementing or administering Workday HCM,
specifically Talent, Compensation, Benefits, Learn, and/or Core HR.
Direct experience in large-scale data conversion.
Experience leading projects - CBAP, PMP, CAPM, CSM, or
similar certification.
Experience
supporting technology for public sector.
Experience
administering Oracle Service Cloud or similar CRM system.

Experience
managing content for a high-traffic website.
