The Talent Program Manager role will report to the President and Co-Founder and will lead the vision, strategy, and execution of the UPTEMPO Career accelerator program. The accelerator aims to mentor, develop, and connect women in graduate technical studies to companies and impactful tech-focused job opportunities.
This role includes managing the first - year outcomes and ongoing growth and success of the accelerator, strengthening partnerships with universities and technical graduate program contacts, optimizing the recruitment and talent engagement strategy, serving as the liaison to external vendors and contractors, and fostering strong client and stakeholder relationships. Additionally, this role will play a key part in increasing the visibility and impact of the program through workshops, speaker series, and other innovative initiatives to engage participants and industry leaders.
This role is hybrid, with 2 days out of the week required to be in-office at our headquarters in Irvine, CA. Occasionally, the Talent Program Manager will travel to local client locations for meetings.

Key Job Responsibilities
- Guide the strategy and ensure the ongoing success of UPTEMPO Careers, to advance Kaygen's mission-driven culture.
- Manage the marketing, branding, and recruitment strategy for the accelerator, leveraging social media, speaker series, and other innovative engagement strategies to increase program visibility.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of UPTEMPO's operations, ensuring a seamless experience from recruitment to program completion.
- Develop creative, out-of-the-box strategies to attract top talent, drive engagement, and position the accelerator as a premier career development program.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring clear communication and coordination with internal stakeholders and external vendors, such as website developers, assessment providers, and other partners, to ensure key deliverables are met.
- Define success metrics and track program performance in collaboration with leadership, ensuring continuous improvement and measurable impact.
- Work closely with HR and business stakeholders to coordinate the successful implementation and execution of talent initiatives.
- Utilize prior recruiting experience to build and maintain strong talent pipelines, foster industry partnerships, optimize candidate engagement strategies, and collaborate closely with the recruiting team to drive successful talent acquisition efforts.
- Manage multiple projects, priorities, and client relationships, ensuring alignment with business goals and a high-quality program experience.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in Talent-related positions which include Recruiting and Early Talent Programs, University Relations, Talent Programs, or Talent Management
- Experience in managing, optimizing, and measuring the impact of established talent programs across a large company.
- Experience in Social Media Marketing
- Demonstrated the ability to interface with and influence senior executives, coordinate with other cross-functional leaders internally and build relationships with external partners
- Proven leadership skills with demonstrated ability to include and leverage diverse perspectives and ideas
- Analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other data visualization tools; proven ability to collect and interpret data, and build reports is a plus.
