Salary Range: $80,000-$90,000
The LUMA Hotels Marketing Manager is committed to building brand value, creating omni channel revenue driving promotions, and long-term loyalty throughout the marketing ecosystem for the LUMA Hotels portfolio. The individual will lead creative efforts behind social content development, fan interaction, and reputation monitoring. You will operate as a part of the results-oriented marketing team that develops packages, promotions, and programming. The manager will be responsible for collaboration between the hotel team, agencies, and above-property leadership.
As a creative problem solver, the manager will optimize marketing platforms, messaging while creating the maximum value for the hotel and company. The individual will be an innovative thinker able to focus on the consumer and driving topline results. The individual in this position will collaborate on all aspects of marketing including; advertising, website management, content creation, agency management and collateral production.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- MARKETING
- Manage content calendar and editorial workflow, ensuring timely publication of content across all channels.
- Create visually stunning and engaging social media content to drive interaction and increase brand awareness. This is an end-to-end creation, including capturing photos and videos, writing captions and copy, and designing and editing reels, stories, etc.
- Serve as the social media ambassador for LUMA Hotel Times Square, fostering authentic connections with our target audience.
- Manage and grow our social media communities by promptly and effectively responding to comments and messages.
- Monitor for UGC, manage permissions, and integrate content across owned channels.
- Collaborate with PR agency to manage influencer partnerships, including coordinating hosting and ensuring deliverables.
- Engage in ongoing social listening, monitoring LUMA as well as competitor and affinity brands for actionable insights.
- Manage website content for hotel websites as well as third-party sites. Ensure content is accurate and optimized and troubleshoot as needed.
- Create and manage marketing emails as well as transactional emails.
- Collaborate with restaurant management team to cross-promote, generate media coverage, and optimize UX for hotel guests.
- Create special offers and hotel packages, promoting across all channels and coordinating logistics with outside agencies including revenue and internal ops teams.
- Work with General Manager and PR agency to develop and manage partnerships and promotions with other businesses and organizations.
- Work with Brand Marketing Manager to produce print/digital marketing collateral and branded merchandise.
- Conduct site visits and coordinate hosting of visiting media/journalists.
- Manage photo shoots.
- Act as a representative of the hotel in community affairs and industry events.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on marketing performance metrics to inform future content and campaigns.
- Stay up to date with the latest marketing trends, best practices, and algorithm changes to optimize our online presence.
- Maintain LUMA brand integrity and contribute creative ideas to our marketing and brand-building efforts.
- ADMINISTRATIVE
- Monitor departmental expenses in accordance with budgetary goals
- Prepare and execute weekly marketing meeting with GM
- Attend weekly/bi-weekly meetings with PR, websites, paid media, and revenue management vendors

WHAT WE NEED:
- Minimum 2 years professional marketing experience
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism or related field
- Experience within Hospitality or travel industry is preferred
- Excellent copywriting and proofreading skills
- Strong competency in all social media platforms
- Detail-oriented and analytical
- Good sense of design and ability to conceptualize requested products
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to analyze marketing opportunities and ad effectiveness
