As part of our Global Product & Technology Communications team, we're looking for a strategic, creative, and passionate Creator Product Communications Manager to shape the narrative around TikTok's creator products, monetization solutions, and innovation roadmap.
Creators are the heart of TikTok, and in this role, you'll drive external communications that elevate TikTok's creator product vision-from tools that empower creativity to monetization programs like the TikTok Creator Rewards Program.

You should have a proven ability to distill and communicate easily across a wide range of audiences and create clear, crisp strategies, talking points, and assets that bring our story to life and build brand affinity. This role will be responsible for seeing business opportunities across many different verticals to tell a bigger-picture story. You can quickly identify areas of opportunity, thrive in an entrepreneurial environment, and collaborate with empathy and a people-first mindset. You'll work cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Public Policy, Legal, and Creator teams to craft compelling messaging, develop media strategies, and build trust with creators, media, and key stakeholders.
Your mission? Tell the bigger picture story. You'll communicate how TikTok's innovations unlock opportunities for creator -whether it's earning a living, growing an audience, selling products, or making an impact beyond the platform. You'll be instrumental in shaping the public perception of TikTok's commitment to its creator ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute communications strategies that highlight TikTok's creator-first approach, product innovations, and monetization tools.
- Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies that align with TikTok's creator product vision and business objectives. Ensure all messaging is cohesive, strategically aligned, and effectively conveys our core values and goals.
- Work cross-functionally with regional and global communications teams to drive clear narratives about our creator products and platform benefits.
- Partner closely with teams across Product, Trust and Safety, E-Commerce, Public Policy, Creator, and Legal to craft and refine messaging that supports TikTok's creator product initiatives. Foster collaboration to ensure consistency in communication across various platforms and channels.
- Lead the development of media strategies that resonate with diverse audiences. Prioritize tactics that showcase TikTok's product innovations, discovery opportunities, and cultural impact. Scale messaging and toolkits across global audiences
- Serve as a key point of contact for media inquiries related to TikTok's creator products. Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and aligned communication with the media, emphasizing TikTok's strategic direction and product offerings.
- Conduct continuous analyses of market trends, cultural shifts, and the competitive landscape to identify opportunities and anticipate challenges.
- Utilize these insights to adapt and refine communication strategies, ensuring TikTok remains competitive and responsive to market changes.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience in leading campaigns and events, developing assets, data storytelling, media relations, and issue handling.
- Passion for consumer product storytelling, complemented by strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills - a solid capacity to both think and do
Preferred qualifications
- Exceptional listening, problem-solving, and verbal and written communication skills.
- A strong bias-to-action, adept and agile, with the ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in day-to-day media relations and/or agency background
- Experience with social media or search platforms plus
- Respect for and desire to learn from other cultures
- Previous experience working with global companies is a plus
