Job description

Senior Financial Analyst positions offered by Safran USA, LLC (Irving, TX). Responsible for preparing the monthly closing of Safran USA and for preparing the Safran French Group consolidation information (BFC). Performs complete analysis of financial results including payroll accounting, various accounts reconciliations, and cash management. Based on Safran tools, design interactive reports in order to prepare consolidation report to Safran SA and a monthly operation of all 15 Safran departments and entities. Responsible for maintaining and updating procedures in compliance with audit requirements and enforcing the application of procedures in the companies under her/his responsibilities. Assess and monitor organizational performance against budget, run variance analysis (budget vs. actual) and provide insights to support management decision making. Work on redesigning some accounting tasks to make them leaner and save time with the final objective to reduce the monthly closing lead time and conduct continuous improvement actions with strategic planning and analysis to restructure and automate the finance department processes.
Candidate skills & requirements

The position requires a bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Accounting, Finance or a related field and five years of experience in the job offered or in financial analysis, financial forecasting/budgeting and/or controllership. Four years of stated experience must be within the aviation industry including experience within a shared services center. Stated experience must include: Accounting Standards and principles (IAS and IFRS), budgeting and forecasting, cost analysis and related accounting activities and/or controllership including demonstrated knowledge of consolidating several entities working in different countries; information systems and risk management products including BFC-Magnitude reporting software, Microsoft Excel (VBA Macros) and/or other mainstream accounting/ERP systems; reading income Statements and reports by the U.S SEC; and technical expertise regarding complex data modeling techniques with Power BI, database development and analyzing and interpreting results/reports.

The expected salary range for this position is between $97,400 to $100,000 USD. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, education, and other factors permitted by law.
