HUNTLEY COMMUNITY SCHOOL DISTRICT #158: Located in McHenry and Kane counties in northern Illinois, Huntley Community School District 158 serves 8,900 students in Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12. HEINEMAN MIDDLE SCHOOL: Heineman Middle School serves approximately 700 students in Grades 6, 7, and 8 from the Algonquin, Huntley, and Lake in the Hills area. The Middle School Philosophy is a huge part of the climate and culture of Heineman Middle School. Each grade level is made up of a team of teachers consisting of 2 language arts and reading, social studies, math, science, and a special education teacher. SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Directs and coordinates educational and administrative activities of the school. Supervises and evaluates the instructional and support staff in the development, implementation, and improvement of instruction, teaching, learning and student activities. Primary role will be the continuous improvement of instruction.
SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS: Master's Degree; three to ten years related experience and/or training preferred. We are searching for a collaborative leader in a current leadership role who possesses excellent communication skills, proven instructional leadership, team building and facilitation of student growth. Appropriate valid Illinois PEL with administrator endorsement (PRIN or GA) is required.
