Fluor is seeking candidates for the I-35 Northeast Expansion (NEX) South project in San Antonio, TX.
Fluor's scope includes the design and construction of approximately four miles of elevated lanes, three in each direction, and associated interchanges at either end of the project.
The I-35 NEX South Project will add additional capacity to one of the most congested corridors in the state, which handles more than 140,000 vehicles per day.
This position is responsible for providing direction, coordination, and evaluation of a large unit or units of project business analysts or a major task force project. Managers in this position encourage and drive innovation, work process improvements, automation in processes to bring about efficiencies and accuracy in execution. This role provides advice concerning multi-entity and multi-country execution and accounting requirements.
Coordinate with Fluor Corporate Tax Department regarding international project set-up and execution
Administer accounting procedures and tax plans established by Fluor financial management
Review and analyze project financial performance and assist project management in understanding and communicating financial issues and performance
Lead month-end/quarter-end activities
Provide guidance and training to Project Business Services (PBS) members and give/review performance appraisals for assigned analysts
Analyze foreign exchange transactions and accounting matters for projects executed across multiple geographies
Other duties as assigned
Basic Job Requirements
Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and twelve (12) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to sixteen (16) years if non-degreed
Preferred Qualifications
Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in business/finance degree
Advanced (Masters) degree or global equivalent in the Business Administration area preferred
Twelve (12) years of related Project Business Service (PBS)/project experience
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Possess knowledge of international payroll and expatriate policies
Leadership on project finance issues and project management of finance issues
Demonstrated proficiency in the use of personal computer-based business applications
Demonstrated ability as a power user of Fluor's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) applications
Has expert level knowledge of the Company's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) system and is capable of identifying and resolving system issues and training Team members
