RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Employee performs all, part, and/or any combination of the duties listed below.
- Be the contracting point of contact and represent Department in customer relationships
- Negotiate scope of work and contracts with customers per biostatistics division projects and consulting services
- Develop and contract customer change orders as needed throughout biostatistics and consulting projects
- Track open and pending biostatistics and consulting contracts, change orders budgets, including financial projections
- Liaise with customers and internal project team
- Coordinate biostatistics contract management activities and processes
- Suggest biostatistics contract management processes, policies, and methods
- Amend, renew, and close out customer contracts
- Maintain internal customer / project archiving and documentation
- Update contract terms of existing customers
- Support monthly and project end project budget reconciliations
- Liaise with Company Business Development team to estimate adequate biostatistics scope of work for RFPs
- Draft, negotiate, and finalize contracts and amendments for various awarded biostatistics projects
- Draft, negotiate, and finalize budgets and amendments for various awarded biostatistics projects in coordination with the Controller and Business Development team
- Communicate and work effectively and professionally via email and phone; capable of problem solving and de-escalating as necessary
- Review and negotiate legal terms in consultation with the Controller
- Establish master service agreements, as necessary
- Develop and negotiate rate cards for MSAs, as necessary
- Support CRO Vendor Contracts Manager as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous work experience with drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal terms
- Previous work experience executing contracts and document signatures
- Previous work experience with customers/third parties
- Previous work experience with creating and defending budgets
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in business and 10+ years of clinical contracting and budgeting experience
- Paralegal strongly preferred
- Biostatistics or CRO experience preferred
