Job Description
ROLE OVERVIEW
Drive delivery of the Amcor Flexibles North America operating plan by providing oversight to quality performance for our customers and business. This role reports to the Director of Quality and is responsible for driving key performance results and leading metrics, quality data analysis, developing sustainable solution to quality defects, and guiding proactive customer communication. The position serves as the interface to AFNA external customers for the quality function as well as acting as a quality resource for the AFNA manufacturing facilities.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO
- Help build the best team across AFNA and the right quality culture to win
- Partner with Manufacturing facilities to develop and implement quality improvement actions and best practice sharing
- Leadership in developing divisional quality improving programs, processes, and infrastructure
- Develop and lead internal audit processes for the quality function
- Develop and maintain key quality leading and performance metrics to track results, deployment goals, and action items
- Be a part of the leadership team in leveraging and deploying technology to advance quality
- Provides support for quality issues at plant facilities and coordinates resolution and action items for quality issues that involve multiple AFNA manufacturing facilities
- Develop and deliver proactive customer communications and is often the main customer interface
- Compile, consolidate and provide analysis, recommendations and action items on AFNA quality
WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU
- Strong communications skills: written and verbal
- Ability to present effectively to AFNA Customers
- Ability to analyze and evaluate data for trends and anomalies that can be communicated to drive improvements - strong analytical skills
- Ability to formulate action items to improve quality
- Vision to establish sustainable processes, programs, and quality infrastructure
- Be able to collaborate well across all functional areas and drive results through teams
- Ability to effectively lead others and develop problem solving, statistics, and communication skills across your team
- Servant leadership to support the business and drive results with a customer (internal and external) focus
- Bachelor's degree in Quality or related field
- 10 years of experience in quality or a closely related field in a manufacturing environment
- Six Sigma or quality certification preferred
- Willingness to travel 30%
