Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Global Human Resources (HR) Support Leader to spearhead the functional design, development, implementation, and daily operations of our global HR Support Model.

The Global HR Support Leader understands both general business and HR Support Model strategy and will oversee the implementation of various governance, enabling technology, and knowledge management initiatives. This leader also handles HR Support Model policies, procedures, and programs across the global enterprise to meet established service delivery targets through continuous evaluation, quality assurance, and focused improvement efforts.

  • Leads a global team dedicated to providing exceptional HR support, optimizing HR processes, and enhancing user experience worldwide, ensuring the efficient maintenance of pertinent HR data processes.
  • Fosters a culture of excellence within the HR support team, promoting quality, high performance, continuous learning, and the development of performance metrics. Analyzes HR metrics to identify trends and recommend performance improvement solutions.
  • Maintains overall responsibility for all Global HR Support Model operations; oversees team in providing exceptional HR support including employee transaction processing and enabling technologies (e.g., case management / Knowledge Base tools).
  • Possesses strategic mindset to set service quality standards, drive data management / reporting activities, lead continuous improvement initiatives, and deliver comprehensive customer solutions.
  • Owns accountability for overall Global HR Support Model scorecard, including service level agreements (SLAs), metrics, and resource / financial management of the Global HR Support function; Communicates results to key business stakeholders
  • Serves as the primary liaison and key contact for all HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) and Tier 2 Specialist teams to support and coordinate all structural and process requirements of the support model.
  • Provides a vision of Global HR Support Model strategic plans effectively and creates a roadmap to educate employees, leaders, and HR team members on utilizing provided services.
  • Champions the adoption of self-service tools and technologies to enhance employee experience and operational efficiency.
  • Supports HR aspects of merger and acquisition activities.
  • Ensure adherence to global governance and Corporate HR initiatives. Act as a stakeholder in the global prioritization of project requests and changes. Manages external vendors and partnerships, focused on increasing service levels while driving down vendor costs to achieve program results.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the global HR support team, setting goals and ensuring departmental objectives are met.
  • Ensures compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations at federal, state, and local levels, along with existing Gallagher policies.
  • Spearheads the functional design, development, implementation, and daily operations of global HR Support Model.
  • Understands both general business and HR shared services strategies to inform the establishment of various Global HR Support Model governance, enabling technology, and knowledge management initiatives.
  • Acts as primary liaison and key contact for all HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) and Onshore / Offshore Tier 1 & 2 Specialist teams to support / coordinate all structural, process, and service delivery requirements of global HR Support Model.

About You

Required:
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in position or specialization, supporting HR technologies and processes.
  • Minimum of 4 years of managerial experience.
  • Bachelors Degree required.
  • Must have prior experience implementing and supporting Human Capital Management and ERP systems (i.e. Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft, Taleo, SuccessFactors, Cornerstone, reporting tools, etc.).

Highly Preferred:
  • 10 or more years of HR contact center operations experience
  • Experience in building contact center function.
  • Proven background leading multi-tiered service delivery support model that interfaces with both employees and business leaders.
  • Extensive experience in HR support with a proven track record of leading successful teams.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all organizational levels, including executive stakeholders.
  • Strong operational knowledge of HR functions, processes, and best practices.
  • Change agent with experience in leading and successfully driving organizational shared services change.
  • Proficient in process engineering, adaptable to changing requirements and environments.
  • Self-motivated with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with HRIS, self-service, onboarding, and other relevant systems.
  • Oracle HCM, Ticketing tool(s) experience; Genesys, and Walkme.
  • Experience creating and utilizing data and reporting to development and lead Key Performance Indicators, and to facilitate continuous improvement.
  • Experience creating and maintaining knowledge base for use in support models, Artificial Intelligence sourcing, etc.
