Sql Data Engineer

RightWorks is hiring SQL Data Engineer in Fort Worth for a long-term direct hire opportunity.

This long-term position is in-office in Fort Worth (50 hours per week). It offers top of the excellent pay & benefits (typical compensation is either 10% over prior compensation or upper range of market comparable). This position will likely end up between $115 & 160,000, with some potential for salaries above this range.

SQL Server Developer / SQL Data Engineer

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, Mathematics, or related field (preferred, not required).
• 3-7+ years of Microsoft SQL Server experience.
• Stable work history.

Responsibilities:

• Gather and analyze data requirements from financial professionals.
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data efficiently.
• Design and maintain tables, stored procedures, triggers, UDFs, and complex queries.
• Optimize database performance and troubleshoot slow queries.
• Develop tools for data analysis, including Excel queries and macros.
• Maintain database backups, security controls, and maintenance plans.
• Apply creative problem-solving to complex data challenges.
• Participate in internal training programs, mentor trainees, and evaluate SQL tests.
