This hybrid role will also include managing a team of Salesforce professionals, providing mentorship, driving best practices, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with Salesforce platforms, a proven track record in team management and collaboration, and a background in consulting, with public sector experience being a plus.

Key Responsibilities
Salesforce Architecture & Solution Design
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and efficient Salesforce solutions that meet business needs.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and architecture that align with Salesforce best practices.
- Oversee the integration of Salesforce with other internal and external systems.
- Provide expert guidance on complex Salesforce configurations, customizations, and development.
- Ensure high-quality and performance-optimized solutions that align with enterprise standards.
- Stay up-to-date with Salesforce releases and new features, integrating them as necessary.
Team Leadership & Management
- Manage and mentor a team of Salesforce developers, administrators, and other technical resources.
- Foster a collaborative and growth-oriented environment, setting clear goals and ensuring timely project delivery.
- Oversee resource allocation and ensure the team is appropriately staffed for project needs.
- Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and offer professional development opportunities.
- Champion best practices for development, testing, deployment, and documentation.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and project alignment.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and provide technical solutions that align with business goals.
- Work alongside project managers to ensure timely delivery and manage project risks.
- Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Lead design and review sessions with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment on technical approach.
Quality Assurance & Best Practices
- Ensure the team adheres to Salesforce best practices and development standards.
- Conduct code reviews and provide guidance on maintaining a high level of code quality and security.
- Develop and maintain documentation for the architecture, design, and processes.
- Ensure ongoing performance optimization and scalability of Salesforce solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 7+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience, including architecture, development, and administration.
- Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Technical Architect, Salesforce Certified Application Architect, and Salesforce Certified Platform Developer are highly preferred.
- Proven experience in leading teams and managing complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce Clouds (Sales, Service, Marketing, etc.), Lightning, Apex, Visualforce, and integration techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with business users and technical teams.
- Experience with Salesforce integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, MuleSoft, etc.) and third-party systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Knowledge of DevOps tools and deployment processes for Salesforce.
- Experience in managing offshore or distributed teams.
- Familiarity with other CRM platforms or enterprise software solutions.
- Consulting experience preferred.
- Public sector experience is a plus.
