Description:
Nonprofit in NYC is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Grant Accountant to manage a portfolio of at least 90 grants and contracts annually. This role is responsible for preparing financial reports, invoices, and journal entries, ensuring compliance with funder requirements, and assisting in audits. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of grant accounting experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel. Familiarity with NYC and NY State funding processes and systems is preferred. This position also supports special financial projects and maintains contract databases.
