We are seeking an experienced Software Engineering Associate Manager to join our Enterprise Operations team, supporting the Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) business area's IT operations and maintenance. You will lead a team of software engineers to ensure the stability, reliability, and performance of RMS systems, driving business outcomes and achieving operational excellence.
What you'll be doing:
In this role, you will be responsible for the following:
Managing non-SAP applications and support RMS SAP functionality
Leading software engineering teams in development, implementation, and maintenance of RMS systems
Overseeing software design, development, documentation, and testing
Managing resource planning, staffing, and talent development
Ensuring software standards and best practices are met
Providing production support and mentoring to team members
Providing full spectrum leadership to team (talent development, performance management, merit, promotions, etc.)
Managing budgets and provide input to project status reports

You are a motivated and experienced software engineering professional with a strong background in managing teams and overseeing complex software development projects. You have strong leadership and communication skills, and are a strategic thinker with a focus on innovation and customer satisfaction. You are familiar with software development methodologies, including agile and DevOps, and have a passion for developing and growing software engineering talent.

Basic Qualifications
Operations, Warehousing, Aftermarket Spares, or MRO domain experience
Experience in web/application and/or data warehouse development
Previous SAP experience
Demonstrated Full Spectrum Leadership principles
Ability to manage multiple resources across multiple concurrent projects
Ability to successfully manage team across dispersed organizations and geographical locations
Self-motivated with strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated knowledge of project management within IT SDLC process
Ability to estimate and manage project risks
US citizenship is required due to system access
Desired skills
Experience in Full Spectrum Leadership
RMS business or RMS IT experience
Agile development process management experience
Experience with controls related to SOX compliance (Sarbanes-Oxley Act)
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Experience in Service Central incident & problem management

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $109,200 - $192,510. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
