Radar (Modeling and Simulation) Systems Engineer - Moorestown, NJ

In-Depth Engineering is seeking mid and senior level Radar Systems Engineers to support our Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) development efforts. BMD is the primary sea-based component of the U.S. missile defense system and integrates multiple capabilities through an advanced command and control system. As a Radar Systems Engineers, you will perform requirements analysis and architecture and develop technical solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity.

The work is performed on-site at our customer site in Moorestown, NJ. Work schedule - Flex 4/10 Schedule or Flex 9/80 w/every other Friday off - or a straight 5/8.

Qualified candidates must have an active DoD Secret Level Security Clearance.

Duties
Apply advanced data analysis principles and methodologies to develop innovative solutions for in-service and next generation radar systems
Develop models and detailed simulations to support design and test efforts and assess system performance
Apply advanced technologies, scientific principles, theories and concepts to develop revolutionary system solutions
Perform functional analysis, design trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications
Develop system models and system performance simulations to support system design trade studies and system specifications.
Support integration and test, evaluate test results, investigate discrepancies, provide technical assessment of anomalies, and drive issues to resolution
Conduct system verification and support certification activities
Support meetings as well as collect various metric and status for compilation into status charts.

Qualifications

Qualifications
BS/MS degree in EE, CE, SE or an engineering related discipline
4+ years of experience
Experience with Modeling and Simulation
Experience with C++ Matlab, Doors
Functional knowledge of Radar systems, Electronic Warfare capabilities, and/or signal processing
U.S. Citizenship with an active DoD Secret level clearance.
