SUMMARY OF DUTIES
Driving the strategic vision and operational excellence of the department. Work closely with the department's senior leadership to ensure the effective delivery of services and initiatives that align with the organization's goals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS PERFORMED
1. Leads, develops, and coaches the system administrator team, ensuring efficient operations and resolving complex technical issues.
2. Collaborate with the senior leadership to develop and implement strategies that support the organization's objectives.
3. Oversee the day-to-day operations for strategy and performance, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
4. Lead and manage a team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
5. Coordinate and prioritize projects, ensuring timely completion and alignment with strategic goals.
6. Develop and manage the budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
7. Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including department heads and senior management, to understand and address their needs.
8. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in department's governance and security.
9. Monitor and report on the performance of systems and services, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
10. Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending innovative solutions to enhance IT capabilities.

SUMMARY OF MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
A minimum of 12 (twelve) years of relevant work experience, with at least 9 (nine) years of supervisory experience.
Proven experience with a track record of successful project management.
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, and applications.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Demonstrated ability to think strategically and drive organizational change.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
Knowledge of IT governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in a healthcare or medical device industry.
Certification in project management (PMP, PRINCE2) or IT service management (ITIL).
Familiarity with cloud computing, cybersecurity, and data analytics.
