We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing and Communications Specialist to support both internal and external marketing and communications efforts. This role is a great fit for a generalist who wants to rapidly gain experience across a variety of communications disciplines.

About the Role

As a Marketing and Communications Specialist, you will play a critical role in crafting high-quality content and strategy to support internal and external communications. You will work closely with analysts, engineers, and leadership to translate detailed concepts into engaging communications that drive awareness, understanding, and action. You will drive consistency in messaging across all communications.

Responsibilities:

• External Communications
  • Write press releases and manage their distribution through our wire service
  • Coordinate media engagements
  • Write award applications
  • Support manager in development of marketing and communications campaigns
  • Create and manage GRVTY web content
  • Develop and maintain GRVTY collateral library
  • Provide recurring analytics reports on marketing performance
  • Coordinate requests for public release of material
  • Additional external communications responsibilities as assigned
• Internal Communications
  • Plan, write, and manage enterprise employee communications (newsletters, all-hands meetings)
  • Support integration efforts through change management communications
  • Manage and create intranet content
  • Provide recurring analytics reports on content performance
  • Additional internal communications responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, media, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in marketing and communications at a national security or technology company.
• Strong skills in PowerPoint and the entire Microsoft 365 suite.
• Track record to move fast and remain detail oriented. You must be a self-proofer.
• Ability to distill technical and security-related information into compelling visual formats.

Salary: $75,000-$95,000

Travel: Up to 25% travel potential
