Job Description
Site Facilities Maintenance is seeking a Craft Supervisor to join our team. The Supervisor will provide leadership to Crafts that perform maintenance across the Naval Reactors Facility. The Craft Supervisor responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Responsible for the technical and professional development of direct reports.
Effectively collaborate with other teams and external stakeholders to achieve mission objectives.
Exercise leadership qualities to influence and enlist the support of direct reports in the accomplishment of the unit's and the Laboratory's goals.
Ensure the correct and timely execution of technical and skill of the craft work.
May serve as a member on one or more Company standing committees.
Create weekly, short term, and long-term schedules for direct reports and equipment maintenance.
Maintain qualifications as listed below.
Provide resources to support scheduled and emergent work.
If required, the selected candidate may need to qualify as a contamination worker, NRF Facilities Operations Supervisor, Production Radiological Controls Supervisor, Lock Out Tag Out supervisor, Satellite Accumulation Area Operator, Confined Space and Excavation supervisor and any other environmental or safety qualification deemed necessary. Must be able to maintain qualification as a radiation worker.
Required Combination of Knowledge and Skill
High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Skills
Experience as a Work Group Leader or equivalent positions directing execution of work.
Self-Starter with history of ownership and accountability of their work
Three (3) years of experience in production facility management and the ability to work tactfully with professional engineers, technicians, and management staff on all levels of effort.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Effective teaming skills to develop strategies and actions to improve productivity and operations.
Compensation and Benefits
Pay Range
$92,900.00 - $145,200.00 annually
Salary information provided is a general guide line only. Annual salary is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations
The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is operated for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) by Fluor Marine Propulsion, LLC (FMP), a wholly owned subsidiary of Fluor Corporation. Naval Nuclear Laboratory personnel are FMP employees who work at four DOE facilities: Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory, Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory, Kenneth A.
