- 5+years of experience in managing mac devices in a large scale environment.
- Provenexperience in managing and supporting Mac devices in an enterprise environment.
- Proficiencywith Mac management tools such as Jamf Pro and Apple Business Manager.
- Strongunderstanding of macOS operating system, configuration, and security.
- Experiencewith scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or AppleScript.
- Patchingand Application packaging as per organization requirements for mac devices.
- Familiaritywith configuration management databases (CMDB) and IT service management (ITSM)tools
- Experiencewith mobile device management (MDM) solutions
- Knowledgeof network protocols and security practices.
- Experiencewith integration of Mac devices in a mixed OS environment (Windows/Linux).
- Excellentproblem-solving ,root cause analysis and troubleshooting skills.
- Strongcommunication and interpersonal skills.
- Abilityto work independently and as part of a team.
- Certificationin Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) or Apple Certified ITProfessional (ACITP) is preferred.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Designand implement standard configurations for Mac devices in line withorganizational policies and security standards.
- Deployand manage Mac devices using tools like Jamf Pro and Apple Business Manager.
- Ensureseamless integration of new devices into the existing infrastructure.
- Package,deploy, and update software applications on Mac devices.
- Utilizesoftware packaging tools and deployment scripts to streamline applicationdistribution.
- Managelicenses and ensure compliance with software agreements.
- Maintainaccurate records of all Mac devices, including hardware, software, andperipheral inventories.
- Trackdevice lifecycle, from procurement through disposal, ensuring properdocumentation and compliance.
- Implementand manage security measures to protect Mac devices, including antivirus,encryption, and endpoint protection tools.
- Conductregular security assessments and vulnerability scans on Mac endpoints.
- Regularlydeploy security patches and updates to Mac devices.
- Monitorpatch compliance and generate reports to ensure all systems are up-to-date andsecure.
- Implementand manage encryption solutions (FileVault) to ensure data protection.
- Readyto adapt to changes in new technology and work in new MDM solutions
- Developand maintain data backup and recovery procedures for Mac device s.
- ProvideTier 2 and Tier 3 support for Mac-related hardware and software issues.
- Diagnoseand resolve complex technical problems, escalating to vendors when necessary.
- Createand maintain detailed documentation for Mac configurations, procedures, andtroubleshooting guides.
- Conducttraining sessions and provide user support on Mac best practices and security.
- Developand maintain automation scripts to streamline Mac device management tasks.
- Utilizelanguages such as Bash, Python, or AppleScript for scripting automation.
- Identifyrepetitive tasks and create automated solutions to enhance efficiency andaccuracy.
- Implementand maintain automated workflows for software deployment, configurationmanagement, and device monitoring.
- Collaboratewith IT teams, security teams, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless Macdevice integration.
- Providetechnical expertise and guidance in cross-functional projects related to Macdevices.
- Leador participate in projects related to Mac device deployment, upgrades, andmigrations.
- Manageproject timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful completion.
- Stayupdated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in Macmanagement.
- Solicitfeedback from end-users and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement.
- Innovate and implement new solutions to improve theMac user experience and operational efficiency.
