Department Overview

Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) oversees contract and vendor risk on an enterprise-wide basis.

  • Position Summary

    Manage complex cross-functional process improvement initiatives and remediation projects by scheduling and leading meetings, action items, timelines, and reporting. Assist with TPRM's "Standard Work" including Supplier Onboarding, Contract Risk, Ongoing Monitoring, and the TPRM Help Desk. Participate in the development and improvement of all TPRM performance metrics, dashboards, and presentations. The ideal candidate will be comfortable and competent driving brainstormed ideas from conception through implementation.

    This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned location based on business needs.

    PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed between the entry point and the middle of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.

    This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E's discretionary incentive compensation programs.

    A reasonable salary range is:

    Bay Area Minimum: $132,000

    Bay Area Maximum: $226,000

    Job Responsibilities
    • Manage cross-functional process improvement initiatives and remediation projects
    • Collaborates with leaders, Risk Groups, FA/LOBs, and business partners to work on issues, projects and/or other activities.
    • Contributes significantly to the development of new complex risk management and control programs.
    • Prepares complex forms, reports, records, reference data and sends to appropriate party.

    Qualifications

    Minimum:
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
    • 8 years' experience in risk, law, finance, policy, supply chain or related field
    • Experience in identifying risks and controls through an end-to-end process and understanding the relationship between risk and control
    • Success in leading cross-functional process improvement initiatives
    • Ability to identify and resolve problems and implementation barriers
    • Experience working in Utility, Oil & Gas, Energy, and/or Construction industries


    Desired:
    • Master's degree or equivalent experience
    • Experience in identifying risks and controls through an end-to-end process and understanding the relationship between risk and control
    • Success in leading cross-functional process improvement initiatives
    • Ability to identify and resolve problems and implementation barriers
    • Experience in using key performance indicators (KPI) and key risk indicators (KRI) to measure and manage operations of a business unit or function
    • Experience in presenting status reports in various levels of detail to various levels of management
    • Experience in identifying risks and controls for Safety, Cyber, Privacy, Credit, and Insurance.
