Job Description

Join our dynamic Ultrasound Team, where you will design, develop, and evaluate innovative, cost-effective, and agile testing methods for new and enhanced software components and systems. You'll take an end-to-end, customer-focused approach, ensuring that solutions align with the customers' perspective. Your work will involve testing both functional and non-functional requirements through a combination of manual and automated processes.

Your role:
  • Perform automated or manual testing within systems/agile/scrum teams to ensure built-in quality throughout the development cycle.
  • Define and drive software test strategies and initiatives at both the feature and system levels, reviewing requirements for accuracy and testability.
  • Consult within scrum or other teams on test planning and participate in team activities such as testing, planning, and demos.
  • Conduct various types of testing including functional, performance, load, and reliability, while automating tests as necessary.
  • Document test plans, protocols, and reports, while supporting design changes for quality impact KPIs and contributing to community knowledge through teaching and coaching.


You're the right fit if:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a cardiac (preferred) and/or general imaging ultrasound sonographer
  • AS or BS/BA degree and/or radiology training or certification
  • Ability to troubleshoot analyze problems.
  • Strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interface in a cross-disciplinary manner, including engineers, product managers, and clinical specialists
  • Self-motivated individual with good organizational and time management skills
  • Familiarity with medical devices and/or working in a regulated environment a plus
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.


How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customers' or suppliers' locations.

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position in Cambridge, MA is $110,000.00 to $177,000.00

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
