The GM works closely with the VP, Club Operations, and cross-functional teams (Marketing, Membership, Finance, Operations, and Events) to develop and execute business strategies that optimize member satisfaction, revenue growth, and team culture.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership + Team Development

  • Provide strong leadership and mentorship to club staff, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture aligned with Remedy Place values.
  • Set clear expectations for luxury hospitality standards, ensuring all team members embody the Remedy Place ethos.
  • Oversee the hiring, onboarding, and ongoing training of club team members, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
  • Conduct monthly one-on-ones and team meetings, ensuring consistent coaching, performance feedback, and accountability.
  • Partner with the People team on team development, retention strategies, and conflict resolution.
  • Lead conflict resolution and complex guest/member situations with professionalism, aligning solutions with company values.
  • Serve as the bridge between club operations and corporate teams, ensuring strong cross-functional communication.

Revenue Management + Business Strategy

  • Work closely with the VP, Club Operations to develop and implement club revenue goals and initiatives.
  • Monitor monthly P&L performance, ensuring financial objectives are met while maintaining the luxury guest experience.
  • Oversee membership sales performance and retention targets, driving initiatives that maximize revenue.
  • Identify and implement cost-efficiency strategies without compromising guest or member experience.
  • Ensure outstanding balances and unpaid invoices remain at a minimum by enforcing strong financial processes.

Operations + Club Management

  • Ensure the club operates seamlessly and efficiently while maintaining a luxury hospitality standard across all areas.
  • Oversee daily club operations, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and proper upkeep of equipment, amenities, and inventory.
  • Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws, ensuring team members adhere to policies regarding shifts, breaks, and compliance requirements.
  • Oversee scheduling and payroll to ensure proper staffing levels, operational efficiency, and adherence to labor budgets.
  • Ensure that membership systems, digital platforms, and club tech are functioning correctly and troubleshoot issues proactively.

Membership Growth + Retention Strategy

  • Oversee membership acquisition and retention efforts, ensuring a strong pipeline of engaged members.
  • Oversee the AGM/Membership Manager in leading club tours, onboarding new members, and ensuring a seamless membership experience.
  • Foster strong relationships with members, ensuring feedback is captured and used to enhance experiences.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Membership, Events + Partnerships to develop and execute strategic initiatives to drive engagement and retention.
  • Analyze membership performance data, identifying opportunities for improvement and growth.

Events, Community + Brand Alignment

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and success of club events, workshops, and activations, ensuring alignment with the Remedy Place ethos.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Events teams to build strategic partnerships and enhance club engagement.
  • Ensure cross-functional collaboration between Membership, Operations, Events, and Marketing to optimize member engagement.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the Remedy Place brand presence through events, partnerships, and experiences.

QUALIFICATIONS + SKILLS

  • 4+ years of management experience in high-end hospitality, wellness, or luxury lifestyle environments.
  • Strong leadership skills with a passion for mentoring and developing high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with guests, team members, and leadership.
  • Proven track record of driving membership sales and revenue growth in a luxury or wellness setting.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven, with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage complex operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to brand standards.
  • Tech-savvy, with experience using membership platforms, CRM systems, and digital scheduling tools.
  • Flexible schedule-ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, maintaining poise and professionalism at all times.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS + WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Comfortable going up and down stairs throughout the club.
  • Ability to use a laptop and phone for administrative work.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
  • Ability to bend, kneel, and squat to assist in guest experiences.
  • Ability to read equipment dials and guest booking platform
  • Scheduling flexibility including weekend, evenings, holiday availability to support business needs.

The pay range for this role is:

120,000 - 140,000 USD per year (United States)
