What You Will Do
The Production Liaison Group (W-8) is the Design Agency representative to the Nuclear Security Enterprise production plants and ensures that weapon production activities at the Production Agencies meet design requirements and intent. W-8 also provides document configuration management (DCM) and Engineering Authorizations (EA) and quality assurance release to W-Division and associated ALDW programs.
W-8 is looking to fill a Team Lead, Quality Assurance Analyst (QAA4) to support all aspects of quality assurance related to document configuration management (DCM) for weapon production definition. The successful candidate will lead the DCM team and report to the W-8 Group Leader and Deputy Group Leaders. The DCM team provides document review, formatting, and release services within the directorate. The selected candidate will need to possess strong personal leadership, have the ability to guide and motivate the DCM team to achieve organizational goals. They will need to be able to operate independently, have strong problem-solving skills and exercise individual initiative to complete assigned tasks along with supporting team member growth and development.

Minimum Job Requirements:
Quality Assurance: Expert-level knowledge and experience of quality assurance documents in terms of orders, policy, business practices and requirements relating to relevant operations.
Additional experience to include ensuring results, materials, processes, and final products that meet quality-specific specifications, and completion according to established requirements. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in editorial review to include proofreading, grammar, spelling, punctuation, accuracy, and attention to detail with a high level of accuracy when reviewing technical documents, diagrams, drawing, and parts-lists.
Data Management: Expert-level experience with relevant software applications, spreadsheets, word processing, and product data management tools. Experience in management of classified and/or unclassified materials, and electronic media. Experience with configuration management and quality control pertaining to procedures related to quality, data gathering and analysis, cause and corrective action determination, and process improvement activities.
Personal Leadership: Expert-level ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision and the ability to make decisions. Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize and schedule work to ensure completion by imposed deadlines.
Communication and Teamwork: Experience building strong customer relations, adhering to security requirements and definitions, especially in regard to protection of LANL technologies, products, and related documentation. Proven experience in clear and concise oral and written communication.
Leadership Experience: Experience leading a team and supporting customers from diverse backgrounds to ensure high-quality service.
Education/Experience: Position requires a bachelor's degree and 12 years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience directly related to the occupation. At this level, post graduate course work may be expected.
