An individual's ultimate compensation will vary depending on job-related skills and experience, geographic location, alignment with market data, and equity among other team members with comparable experience.

What you'll do.
The Surplus Lines Compliance Specialist will oversee PURE Programs' countrywide surplus lines premium reporting, filing, and tax payments. Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying, analyzing, and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, including tax and fee rate changes, diligent search requirements, and tax payment methods and deadlines. Monitoring legal changes and assessing their impact on surplus lines products.
- Creating, reviewing, and ensuring compliance when launching new products or expanding into new states.
- Responding to carrier partner audits, Stamping Office, and regulator inquiries and examinations. Coordinating Lloyd's coverholder audits and annual Due Diligence responses.
- Supporting and enhancing surplus lines process automation while driving the implementation of new initiatives.
What we're looking for.
- Required: Associate or Bachelor's degree
- Required: 5-7 years of surplus lines or non-admitted insurance experience in a legal or compliance role at an MGU or carrier
- Property & Casualty experience, preferably in personal lines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with professionals at all levels
- Strong ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects while meeting deadlines
- Ability to take initiative and assume ownership of tasks and responsibilities.
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Ability to question, analyze, and provide recommendations at both strategic and detailed levels
