Your role
  • Leverage learnings across all plants, ensuring best practices are shared and implemented.
  • Drive superior performance by gathering, analyzing, and sharing key operational data.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement to maintain the plants' operational and financial competitiveness.
  • Own the process of preparing annual operating budgets for the plants.
  • Lead facilities to achieve budgeted operational and financial commitments.
  • Ensure consistent and complete implementation of company policies.
  • Maintain consistent adherence to federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure a culture with a strong commitment to safety.Asset Optimization
  • Maintain a robust capital expenditure plan that includes both short and long-term plant needs to provide capacity for market demands, to optimize employee safety, regulatory requirements, and profitability.
  • Provide leadership, coordination, and successful implementation of capital projects.
  • Ensure proper maintenance systems, personnel, training, and accountability to maintain company assets in optimum condition.
  • Drive innovation by exploring technologies and process to improve our performance.Talent Development
  • Collaborate with HR to recruit, develop, and retain a consistently high-performing team.
  • Foster genuine, healthy teamwork at all sites.
  • Works with HR to assure consistently full staffing across the plants.
  • Ensure meaningful development and succession plans are in place for leadership team.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Closely coordinate with Supply Chain to optimize the planning, scheduling, and the needs of the plants to the Operations and Business leadership; assure effective communication flow to business and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Engineering, and others to explore technology and processes to drive innovation in our plants and product offerings.
  • Coordinate with the Supply Chain and the Commercial team to assure effective planning, production and logistics to meet the commitments that we make to our customers.
  • Support the Sales department and other Management individuals during visits to the plants by customers, potential customers, suppliers, and VIPs.

About you
High School Diploma required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred but not required
Minimum of five (5) years' manufacturing experience preferred
Fluent in English, French and/or German a plus
Skills and Technical sensitivity to manufacturing
Ability to build intra-team relationships and collaborate in a global environment at all levels of the organization
Used to work in a fast-growing business scenario, and at ease in leading change.
Proficient in Micro Soft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc)
Excellent math abilities and working knowledge of data analysis/statistical methods
Strong communication and presentation skills for a variety of audiences
Food Safety Quality training and/or certification is a strong advantage (ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, SQF and PCQI)
