Position Summary
Under the direction of the Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs, the Chief Strategy and Partnership Officer for Academic Affairs advances the University of New Mexico's (UNM) mission by developing, implementing, and leading strategic initiatives that require collaboration within the institution and with key external partners. This role will ensure that UNM supports the development of New Mexico's advanced workforce needs by establishing clear professional pathways for students from matriculation to graduation, aligning academic programs with evolving workforce demands. Strengthens UNM's role in key economic sectors by connecting faculty and students with industry leaders, including national laboratories. Provides strategic leadership in addressing challenges related to healthcare workforce expansion, such as educational capacity, budget models, and pipeline programs. Fosters innovative initiatives to support student success and drive regional growth.

Minimum Qualifications

Master's degree; at least 10 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
