We are seeking a qualified and adept Senior Manager of Information Security to work hybrid in our Norwood office and join our IT team at Advanced Instruments LLC

A Day in the Life:

As a Senior Manager of Information Security, you will develop and implement efficient security strategies to safeguard our organization's assets. You will protect our company and maintain a secure work environment. We seek a highly skilled individual with a deep understanding of security strategies and a proven track record in managing security operations. You will develop, implement and monitor a strategic, comprehensive enterprise information security and IT risk management program. Not only will you oversee the management of information security and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards but you will lead the security team with assessing potential risks and vulnerabilities, investigating security breaches and reinforcing appropriate measures to mitigate them. The Senior Manager of Information Security also conducts regular security assessments, audits and inspections to identify gaps and areas for improvement. What we are looking for in you:
  • 10+ years of experience in security management, with a strong understanding of security principles and practices.
  • In-depth knowledge of security technologies, incident management software and other security-related equipment, such as access control systems and surveillance.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement security policies, procedures and programs.
  • Familiarity with laws, regulations and industry standards pertaining to security and safety
  • Proficiency in security assessments, audits and investigations at a large scale.
  • Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
  • Experience with security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM).
  • Attention to detail and a keen eye for identifying and mitigating security risks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergencies.
  • Ability to work hybrid work schedule in Norwood office.
