The Program Management Office (PMO) supports some of the company's most complex, cross-functional decisions and programs. When needed, members of the PMO will roll up their sleeves and work hand in hand with engineering and operations to solve issues that arise.

The Process & Tools Senior Technical Program Manager is responsible for leading planning, execution and tracking of cross-domain functions including but not limited to issue management, change management, planning and execution tracking. This role involves identifying process improvements and driving them to completion and the design and implementation of tooling changes to support or improve cross-domain processes.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and implement comprehensive process frameworks across our domains, establishing standards and best practices that support organizational objectives.
  • Design, implement, and maintain robust issue management systems, ensuring effective tracking, resolution, and reporting of cross-functional challenges.
  • Develop and oversee change management processes, including impact assessment, stakeholder communication, and implementation tracking across the organization.
  • Drive the implementation of Jira workflows, fields, and processes, ensuring alignment across teams and optimizing for efficiency.
  • Coordinate planning functions including quarterly and annual planning processes, resource allocation, and capacity management.
  • Create and maintain execution reporting frameworks to track program progress, milestones, and key performance indicators.
  • Partner with stakeholders across engineering, product, and program teams to gather requirements and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all PMO processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and metrics to track process effectiveness, team performance, and program health.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives for PMO tools and processes, incorporating feedback and best practices.
  • Facilitate cross-functional alignment through effective communication channels and regular stakeholder engagement.
  • Support milestone programs and Live Service and Robot Platform initiatives through process optimization and tool enhancement.
  • Provide training and guidance to teams on PMO tools, processes, and best practices.
  • Drive data-driven decision making through analytics and reporting capabilities.


Requirements
Qualifications
  • BS or MS degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience
  • 8-10 years of experience in engineering or program management with a focus on issue management, change management
  • Proven experience in managing complex cross functional programs and rolling out new processes and process improvements
  • Strong leadership and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills and the ability to concisely and effectively communicate at all levels of an organization
  • Proficiency in project management tools, issue tracking software, and data analysis.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Have an inquisitive and open attitude to exploring new ideas and eagerness to continuously learn and take on tough problems
  • Independent thinker capable of operating within ambiguously defined structures with an ability to deliver tangible results
  • Ability to perform in a fast pace high-stress environment
  • Willingness to get your hands dirty to understand the programs you are supporting
  • Experience with automotive or aerospace processes preferred
  • Proficient in tools or processes required to manage complex projects (i.e., Gantt charts, risk matrix, Smartsheet, JIRA, etc.)


Bonus Qualifications
  • PMP or equivalent
  • Strong references that highlight your ability to build strong working relationships with senior leaders and engineers across functions and departments
  • An ability to keep the big picture in focus and to provide clear, well-structured, and concise communications tailored to each appropriate audience.
  • Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills are a must, ability to create visualizations of KPIs and program risks is a bonus
