  • Calibrate engine control features to achieve optimal drivability, emissions performance, and fuel economy targets while ensuring robust OBD compliance and adherence to stringent quality standards.
  • Collaborate within cross-functional teams to develop and execute comprehensive action plans encompassing engineering analysis, quality issue resolution, verification/validation testing, and emissions/OBD data collection.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying potential problems, performing root cause analysis, developing and validating effective countermeasures, and implementing established procedures and processes.
  • Prepare and publish comprehensive quality reports summarizing evaluations, investigations, analyses, project milestones/timing and recommendations to relevant stakeholders (e.g., calibration managers, chief engineer, director).
  • Mentor and coach calibration engineers on calibration best practices, quality processes, and problem-solving techniques to foster a culture of continuous learning and quality within the quality resolution team.
