Description:
The Executive Director of Perioperative Services at MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn, IL plays a critical leadership role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of surgical and procedural care in our community hospital. With the increasing complexity of surgical procedures, advancements in technology, and the growing demand for perioperative services, the replacement of this position is essential to maintaining operational excellence, patient safety, and financial sustainability.
The Executive Director of Clinical Operations - Perioperative Services is a transformational nursing leader with 24/7 responsibility for the strategic management of a portfolio of inpatient operations, which may include some ambulatory and/or support practices. The ED is the leadership link for translating the organization's vision and annual operating plan to the daily work of front-line leaders. Additionally, they are responsible for implementing and overseeing highly reliable, safe, and well-coordinated care, that align with the Loyola Medicine annual operating plan and strategic plan.
Mastery of the AONL executive nurse competencies of communication and relationship management, knowledge of the healthcare environment, leadership, professionalism, and business skills/principles are fundamental to the executive director role.

Compensation:
Pay range: $128,003- $211,203
Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
Annual Bonus: Eligible for incentive compensation annual target as outlined in Plan Document.
Per the Plan Document, Loyola Medicine reserves the right to amend, modify, suspend, or terminate the Plan in whole or in part at any time and for any reason.

What's required:
- Master's degree in Nursing; Doctorate Degree (Ph.D.) preferred.
- 3-5 years of previous job-related experience; 6-10 years preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive leadership experience.
- Current Registered Nurse License State of Illinois
- Nursing board certification in leadership preferred
