Job Summary
We are looking for a talented and versatile Principal Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications, managing data engineering tasks, and supporting system integration efforts. This role requires a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end development, data management, and the ability to work collaboratively with other IT professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Implement and manage data pipelines, ETL processes, and data storage solutions.
- Integrate applications with various systems and third-party services.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues across the full stack.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years proven experience as a Principal Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular).
- Proficiency in back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, .NET).
- Experience with database management systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
- Familiarity with data engineering concepts and tools (e.g., Apache Spark, Hadoop).
- Experience with system integration and API development.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Certification in relevant technologies or platforms.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) preferred
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) preferred
