The University of South Carolina Joseph F. Rice School of Law is seeking an adjunct professor to teach a variety of courses during the 2025-26 academic year. Courses may include a Criminal Procedure course. Applicants should have substantial knowledge of and practice experience litigating federal criminal cases in the federal court system. Preferred qualifications include prior teaching experience and employment as a government attorney at a federal agency. Applicants should also have strong academic credentials and be able to demonstrate a high probability of success as a teacher and a willingness to contribute to the law school's academic community.
Required Education and Experience
JD and at least ten years of practice experience.
