Greenberg Traurig has an excellent opportunity for an Associate to join a growing Private Wealth Services Practice in our Austin office. We offer competitive compensation and an excellent benefits package.
Job Requirements: The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in estate planning for high-net-worth individuals and families, trust and estate administration and estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer tax planning. In addition, the candidate must have excellent academic credentials, strong research, writing and verbal communication skills and a background practicing trusts and estates in a law firm setting. An LL.M. in Taxation or Estate Planning is strongly preferred, though not required if the candidate otherwise has a solid trusts and estates background. The candidate should be ranked in the top of their law school class or have graduated from a top-tier law school. Must be in good standing with the Texas Bar, or eligible for admission to the Texas Bar. Admission to the Florida Bar would be helpful to support the group's multi-jurisdictional practice.
