• ResponsibilitiesResponsible for integrating data from various sources, ensuring proper data governance and compliance. Design, develop, and maintain complex data ingestion pipelines for handling large volumes of data using technologies such as Databricks, PySpark, and Python. Implement data transformations, cleansing, and enrichment processes to ensure data quality and consistency. Monitor data pipelines for performance bottlenecks and optimize as needed. Optimize and fine-tune data pipelines for performance and scalability. Build AWS Step Functions to coordinate complex workflows and pipelines involving multiple AWS services. Create and maintain ETL jobs using AWS Glue to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into data lakes or warehouses. Develop and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data into Snowflake from various source systems. Utilize Snowflake's native features for data integration and transformation. Ensure data quality and consistency during the ETL process.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

• Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field of study plus five (5) years of related experience required. The company will also accept a Master's degree and two (2) years of related experience.
• Work Experience. Two (2) years of experience must include: Python; SQL Data Store - Oracle; No SQL DB - Dynamo DB; Redshift, Aurora; Snowflake; Pyspark; AWS services including step function or Lambda; Agile/Scrum development environment; Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC); Integration testing; Version Control, including Git or Subversion; RESTful APIs; and Web Services.
